Frances McEwan
Practice Manager
Fran joined The Physios in November 2006 and manages all the day-to-day administration tasks involved in running the practice as well as having a key role in its strategic development.
Fran, who is originally from Sheffield, studied hospitality management in Sheffield and Torquay before starting her career in Glasgow where she began to work specifically in conference & events management.
She took a year out to travel the world visiting Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the States and liked New Zealand so much that she went back to live there for the next 11 years where she gained more experience in her chosen field - working for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand and a national agricultural servicing company. So, if you wondered where the hint of an antipodean accent came from - now you know!
Fran returned to the UK in 2006 and sees her past experience and considerable organizational skills to be ideally suited to her role at The Physios.
In her spare time Fran enjoys reading, cooking, the cinema and walking.
