Work experience

We recognise the importance of work experience when deciding upon a future career and we also understand the difficulty some young people experience when trying to obtain access to physiotherapy departments. It is our policy therefore to try and provide some placements for students who have either already applied for or who are serious about pursuing a career in physiotherapy. Students are able to observe experienced clinicians working with very motivated patients for a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions as well as being involved in making appointments, answering the phone and assisting the physiotherapist with other duties.

If you would like to apply for a work experience placement, please send us your CV with a covering letter. There is always a huge demand for work experience at this practice and we are therefore unable to guarantee a placement.

Note for patients: Whilst we believe that providing placements for students on an occasional basis is worthwhile, we also respect your preferences and wish for privacy. If you prefer not to have a student in attendance during your treatment, please feel free to decline.
